Genealogy

The Genealogy Department is located on the first floor beside the elevator. The department provides a comfortable and quiet space for researching family history.  Department resources may be used during normal library hours with the assistance of a library supervisor or Society member.

The VA-NC Genealogical Society has its offices at the Ruby B. Archie location and provides volunteers to help patrons with genealogical research.  Visit their website for hours and additional information.
